Shoes can say a lot about someone. For real!!!
I find myself drawn to looking at peoples shoes (I never claimed to be normal! :) ) and it's quite fascinating to imagine what kind of life they might lead just by the shoes they are wearing. And not in a judge-mental type way, but more of an admirable way!
Let me explain...
A running shoe? Maybe they're a marathon runner.
Me: 'Man, that's cool. I can barely run a mile straight without stopping!'
A work boot? Must be a hard worker.
Me: 'Who doesn't admire that?!?'
A pointy toe heel? A classy professional.
Me: 'I bet they are driven and successful!'
A well loved and worn Converse?
Me: 'I bet they're super chill!'
My shoes help paint a picture of what I am feeling like that day.
Dressy? Sophisticated? Sporty? Edgy? Casual?
It's like they are a part of who I am almost...
And that person with the handful of shoes that I mentioned before??
I imagine you are pretty cool. Maybe you don't need to clutter your life with all kinds of extra things. You know exactly what you need and you're fine with it.
If so, I admire that too.
