Let the Holy Spirit be your life coach.
The whole reason I wanted to have a 'platform' like social media, is to encourage women to dedicate their entire lives to Christ. Not just church on Sunday morning and a women's Bible study group meeting, but EVERYTHING.
God wants us to bring Him into our every step throughout the day. First thing when you wake up, have some quiet time in scripture and prayer and ask Him to give you what you need for the day ahead, pray over each task, interaction, email, meeting, decision...all of it.
Prayer is not just something we reserve for an emergency or when we want something, it's a blessed connection we've been given as Christians when Christ died on the cross for us. It's the Holy Spirit in us to guide and direct us and our lifeline to God, when we need to know what to do, when we need comfort and relief, when we need to just plain vent and let it all out.
God wants an intimate relationship with you, not to be merely an acquaintance. In order to have that intimate relationship, we need to know God, by reading our Bible, which is key to understanding who He is and also finding the answers to a lot of life's hard questions, pray...and pray some more. Bring Him into everything.
Then sometimes you only need to be quiet and still and listen for His voice. Often we are so busy and surrounded by noise, we literally can't hear Him, even when He IS telling us something.
So when you get up tomorrow, ask God into your day. And as you go from task to task, person to person, struggle to struggle, go to him in prayer, ask for help and let Him be your guide.
John 16:13 NIV
But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
